The Xbox One is an eighth generation video game console. It was the third console created by Microsoft.

The Xbox One began development in early 2008 with PlayStation veteran Mark Cerney as the system architect. The PlayStation 4 was very well received by fans from it's initial announcement and is currently the highest selling console of the generation.
Tomb Raider[]
Crystal Dynamics' 2013 reboot was ported to eighth generation consoles in January 2019, selling the majority of copies on PS4.
In August 2014, a controversial announcement that Rise of the Tomb Raider the sequel would be a timed exclusive to Microsoft Platforms, however the game would eventually release on PlayStation 4, containing all previous DLC along with brand new story DLC.
Tomb Raider casing
Shadow of the Tomb Raider later released in 2018 being co-developed by by Eidos Montreal and Crystal Dynamics.
A limited custom casing was made for Xbox One X for the release of Shadow of the Tomb Raider.[1]
