The Xbox 360 is a seventh generation video game console. It was the second console created by Microsoft.
Overview[]
The Xbox 360 began development in 2001, in collaboration with Toshiba and IBM. It was the first console to make use of BluRay discs.
Tomb Raider[]
Still being developed by Crystal Dynamics, Tomb Raider: Underworld was released as a cross generational title, showing up on both PlayStation 2 & 3. Legend and Anniversary were both later released as part of the Tomb Raider HD Trilogy.
The PlayStation 3 also saw the rerelease of the first five Tomb Raider games via PlayStation Network.
After Tomb Raider: Underworld was completed, work began on what would later become another reboot of the series which would be the last Tomb Raider game released on the PlayStation 3.
