Willard Stirling is a character from an earlier version of Tomb Raider's storyline.
Biography[]
Willard Stirling is a renegade Nephilim and was banished from his home dimension to earth thousands of years ago. He has been searching a way back ever since, he learned of a legendary artifact Cucurbite that when assembled could warp space and time. Hoping it would allow him to get back home, he starts searching for the artifact[1].
Having amassed a fortune over the years, now a multi-billionaire he hires Lara Cruz to recover these artifacts. The Cucurbite was broken up into six pieces around the world immediately following his banishment.[1]. Lara manages to recover five of those artifact pieces, and decides to follow Willard's emissary Lars Kruger back to Willard's headquarters. Lara defeats Willard in his true monstrous nephilim form, and escapes with the artifact pieces[2].
