Totec is the Guardian of Light.
Many years ago, Totec led his army of Light against the army of Darkness led by Xolotl. Xolotl and his army were defeated and Totec expelled Xolotl. Totec then imprisoned himself within a stone to guard the Mirror of Smoke at the Temple of Light.
In the present, a man named Vasco unwillingly releases Xolotl again when removing the Mirror. Totec soon awakens as well to stop Xolotl from plunging the world into darkness again. Totec has Lara Croft to aid him in stopping Xolotl.
