Tomb Raider has had many games starting from the series' debut in 1996, spanning multiple continuities, with several iterations of the titular character, Lara Croft.

- Tomb Raider (PlayStation, PC, Sega Saturn and Android iOS)
Lara is contracted by Jacqueline Natla to search for the Scion of Atlantis. However the hunt becomes personal when Natla cancels Lara's contract, Lara realizes that Natla's motives are of an insidious nature and sets out to collect the Scion for herself.
1997[]
- Tomb Raider II (PlayStation, PC)
Lara hunts for the legendary Dagger of Xian, her search brings her into conflict with Mafia leader, Marco Bartoli, who also seeks the dagger.
1998[]
- Tomb Raider III: Adventures of Lara Croft (PlayStation, PC)
Lara is hired to recover four artifacts fashioned from an ancient meteorite that hold tremendous power. However Lara soon learns why her employer needs them so much.
1999[]
- Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation (PlayStation, PC and Sega Dreamcast)
Lara accidentally opens the Tomb of Set and sets out to put things right. However her former mentor, Werner Von Croy, seeks to release him into the world.
2000[]
- Tomb Raider: Chronicles (PlayStation, PC and Sega Dreamcast)
With Lara missing and presumed dead, Lara's friends share stories about Lara's past exploits.
2003[]
- Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness (PlayStation 2 and PC)
After the murder of her mentor, Lara is the primary suspect. She journeys across Europe as she tries to clear her name, and uncover the truth of a mysterious group, known as Lux Veritatis, and a Serial Killer known as Monstrum.

Lara seeks a Stone Dais, from her past, but she soon realizes that it is useless without the key, The Legendary Sword of King Arthur, Excalibur.
2007[]
- Tomb Raider: Anniversary (PlayStation 2, PSP, Nintendo Wii, Xbox 360 and PC)
Lara is contracted by Jacqueline Natla to recover the Scion of Atlantis. However, Natla knows that Lara also wants the Scion, as her father had also sought it at one point. Natla tries to have Lara killed, but Lara survives, and races to find the remaining pieces of the Scion.
2008[]
- Tomb Raider: Underworld (PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS and PC)
Lara seeks the the location of the Entrance to Avalon. Discovering a link between the Saxon Legend and Norse Myth, Lara seeks the Hammer of Thor, Mjolnir.

An expedition gone awry leaves a young Lara Croft stranded on an island, full of savage beasts, insane cultists, and the mystery of the Shamanistic Queen, Himiko. In a desperate fight for survival, Lara must uncover the truth, in order to get home.

- Rise of the Tomb Raider (Xbox One, Xbox 360 released November 10th 2015. PC released January 28th 2016, PlayStation 4 October 11th 2016)
After a cover up leads to Lara being discredited and called crazy, she searches for the fabled city of Kitezh to prove the existence of an immortal soul, and clear her late father's good name.

- Shadow of the Tomb Raider (PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Microsoft Windows released September 14th 2018.)
Lara inadvertently triggers an apocalyptic event, which Trinity intends to see to fruition. Lara races against time to stop the end of humanity.
