Tomb Raider Sega Comic

Tomb Raider is a comic book promotion in the Mean Machines Sega gaming magazines before the release of the first Tomb Raider game. It was written by the games' writer Vicky Arnold and drawn by artist Paul Peart-Smith[1]. The comic ran from issues #47-50, 2 pages in each issue. The comic can be considered canon, due to it being written by Vicky Arnold, and the ending leads to the intro of the first game.

Plot[]

in Africa, Lara Croft happens upon a Professor who is assaulted by treasure hunters. One man steals The Key from the professor and runs into the cave, and Lara follows the man. In the tussle, the man calls Lara, Sheila, to which she reveals her real name, and the man introduces himself as Max. Their fight is interrupted by the undead, and Max gets bitten. Lara finishes him off with her pistols and retrieves the key. Lara torches the zombies and goes for the door. The professor tries to stop her, but Lara is determined. Inside the crystal skull chamber, the professor tries to find a way to retrieve the King Siodes' Skull safely, while Lara just shoots the ceiling and the skull drops and the place starts to collapse. Lara runs out while carrying the professor, and leaves him the skull. Lara then travels to Calcutta to have some tea and rest.
