Lara Croft drives to Getty Museum in Los Angeles to deliver the Delphi Stone which she had a pleasure of liberating from thieves in Venice.
Lara is greeted by the museum curator Lawrence Nash. Shortly after, she is pumped into by a waitress Lizzy Zorka. This fortunately takes her away from the other guests and gave her an opportunity to escape when Edgar Mast landed with the helicopter full of armed men. Lara was spotted however, and the men went after her. Eventually they caught up with her and Lizzy, who got captured. Lara gives Edgar the Delphi Stone to save Lizzy. Edgar attempt to kill Lara, but she back-flips over the ledge. Edgar wants to use the Delphi Stone which when used on the Oracle Altar open a portal to anywhere, to rob banks. Just as Edgar opens a portal, Lara croft reemerges, snatches the Oracle Stone from him and tosses it into the portal, making it suck everything in its vicinity into the void created, including Edgar and his armed forces.
