Skills are a gameplay mechanic in Tomb Raider Reloaded. One skill can be chosen at the start of the chapter, and one new skill can be chosen after gaining a level from clearing a stage. In pit stop stages, Anaya can either restore Lara's health or grant her a new skill. Skills can also be accrued from defeating bosses. Defeating a boss without losing any health will result in Von Croy appearing to offer a powerful ability at the cost of 20% of Lara's max health, while doing so after losing at least 1 health point will trigger the Lucky Wheel, with a 50% chance of granting a new ability.
