Scion of Mu is a key to a genesis device which would restore the world to a eco friendly way.[1]
History[]
Scion of Mu was separated into three pieces and hidden around the world by the Atlans and Guardians of Mu were placed to watch over each piece.
First piece was hidden in the lost Inca city Vilcabamba in Peru. It was used as a pedant for the queen, and buried with her. There Lara Cruz also found a journal by Arther Hamilton Graves, which described the location of the second piece[2].
Second piece was hidden in El Dorado in Brazil, east of the Xingu River. Xolotol was the guardian in El Dorado. He managed to dispatch the Chaos Raiders and Arther Hamilton Graves years before. Lara Defeats Xolotol and retrieves the piece.[3]
Combining the two pieces Lara is shown a vision revealing the location of the third piece. It is on a piece of land called Davis Land near the Easter Island. This piece is guarded by a half-man, half-beast armies of Mu.[4]
Lara takes the combined Scion of Mu to the last outpost of Atlan, the Agarti[5] . She uses the scion to try to activate the Master Pyramid, but actually turns it off, which then released the demon Sanatkumara.[6]
