Rambo is a character from an earlier draft of Tomb Raider's storyline.
Appearing in the Version 1.8 draft, Rambo is one of Natla's four hired mercenaries who ambush Lara after she has recovered the final piece of the Scion. In this draft, Rambo appeared in all of the scenes on the stern of Natla's yacht instead of the Bald Man, conversing with the Skater Boy and watching Lara leaving the yacht for Atlantis. Here, Rambo is the one responsible for informing Natla and the others via radio that Lara is alive. This is the last time he appears. [1]
The final FMV sequence is not finalised in this draft so it could be that Lara was to overwhelm Rambo before taking charge of the yacht and escaping as Atlantis explodes.
