Q'orianka is a character introduced in the Shadow of the Tomb Raider DLC The Pillar.
Biography[]
Q'orianka was one of the Shorn Ones. The order however was dismantled by Amaru, and Q'orianka is the only one left.
Unuratu had sent Q'orianka to find the Shield of the Age Maker after finding that it is hidden near Paititi. Q'orianka's search was cut short when Etzli was captured, and Unuratu sent Q'orianka a message to stop her search and help in the opening of the old barracks.
Q'orianka truly believed that the shield exists and still wanted it found, she asked Lara Croft to retrieve it before the Cult of Kukulkan can. Lara found the shield and brought it to Q'orianka. Q'orianka helped Lara to translate it, and the shield reveled that anyone can create destiny. Q'orianka believed that when Unuratu sees that, it would shake her faith, so Q'orianka decided to burn the Shield of the Age Maker[1].
Q'orianka had managed to steal Amaru's cypher wheel, and with the help of Lara she deciphered the first location on it. An Eastern Mountain, where Amaru lived in his youth. After Lara returned, she revealed that the cypher wheel had no value to the rebellion, and was something that reminded Amaru about his brother Sayri[2].
Q'orianka came to Mission of San Juan to inform Lara that the Yaaxil have went missing from Paititi. Abigaile Ortiz and Jonah Maiava were also present, while Abigaile explained her grandmother's visions. As the Mission of San Juan and Paititi were connected by the underground tunnels, Lara went to search the Yaaxil, from those tunnels. Lara's discovered that the Yaaxil have returned to their version of the heaven, and returned to Mission of San Juan. Q'orianka expressed her wish to explore the outside world now that her work as a protector has been finished[3].
Q'orianka visited, Tierra del Fuego, Argentina, as she wanted to see snow and experienced her first snow storm. Abigaile was kind enough to fly her there. Q'orianka sent Lara a postcard from there[4].
