The Prophet's Followers were the followers of the Deathless Prophet of Constantinople. They are succeeded by the Remnants. They built Kitezh, and inhabited it.

History[]

The followers of the Prophet were founded at some point in the Byzantine Empire, when the Prophet returned with the Divine Source. After the Order of Trinity pursued them from Byzantium, they fled to Syria. A knight managed to kill the Prophet with a spear and saying he was dead to the high council. But the Prophet resurrected from the Source's powers. The knights eventually noticed that someone in the Prophet's robes was active, and they thought he was a heir. They massacred many inside The Prophet's Tomb, but in the end, the followers were victorious. They recruited people from the villages to increase their numbers, and expand their cause. Trinity continued to hunt down the followers and sent a tracker to follow their trail. They eventually got from the deserts of Syria to the mountains of Siberia, which they constructed Kitezh. Kitezh was home to artists, architects, priests and scientists, and a safe place for his believers. The Prophet made sure to make an army, which the soldiers later gave him the Atlas. After 3 centuries, Trinity sent an envoy to the Mongols to help them take down the believers. After the Mongols fought the Rus in various battles, they reached Kitezh. The Mongols attacked them, and the believers were losing. The Prophet exposed his warriors to the Divine Source, who made them immortal, almost undefeatable and much stronger. The Deathless Army of the Prophet killed the Mongol Khan and many of his warriors, including civilians. The Prophet met with some citizens of Kitezh and they inhabited the outskirts of the city, and soonly became the Remnants.
