Polynesians were the people that live in Polynesia, and the first people to discover Koma-Koma, Antarctica. Despite the now freezing conditions, there was an abnormal abundance of life and the tribe settled, worshipping the meteorite crater for the powers it appeared to hold.

History

Polynesians, lived near where a meteorite fell, and worshipped it. They even fashioned artifacts from the meteor, and built a city named Tinnos around it. The meteorite however mutated some of them, for example, the sixth leader, Mauki, was born without a face.

After terrible storms started, the people became afraid and sailed away. Some of the people ended up back in the South Pacific, on an island named Kuru. They were known as Tribesmen.

• They may have been an inspiration for the People of the Light in the first Tomb Raider movie, Lara Croft: Tomb Raider.
• The Polynesians mentioned may be originally from Easter Island, judging by the moai found at Antarctica.
