Percy Harrison Fawcett or Percival Harrison Fawcett [1] is a real-life person who's fictional documents can be found in Shadow of the Tomb Raider.
Real History[]
After several trips to Brazil, Percy was certain that there is a Lost City somewhere in the jungle. In 1925 he set out to find it with his eldest son Jack Fawcett and his son's best friend Raleigh Rimmel. Soon after setting out they went missing and were presumed dead[2].
Fictional History[]
Shadow of the Tomb Raider[]
Percy Harrison Fawcett was enthusiastic about the expedition, and tried to assure it to his son and Raleigh. During their travels Raleigh succumbed to the infection, although Percy had insisted on Raleigh to turn back, he had refused[3]. At the start of August 1925, Percy Harrison Fawcett passes in his sleep in Peruvian Jungle, leaving behind one last letter to his wife, where he informs her that he has instructed Jack to turn back[4].
