Paveaux Sword is a cursed sword of Paveaux. When someone gets cut with the sword's blade they are marked for death, and afterwards the spirit of Paveaux can take over their bodies. The sword can also be used to raise the dead, creating zombies.
In 2001, Jane found it in a shipwreck at the coast of Florida, and donated it to the New York Museum of Antiquities. The sword however was stolen, by the Bokor. Lara Croft chased after the cultists and was cut by the blade by Bokor. Lara tracked down the Paveaux Cult on Backlin Islands and retrieved the sword before the curse could overtake her. Lara broke the blade, ending it's curse. Lara did return the handle of the sword back to Jane at the Museum of Antiquities.
