Nur Hussein is a minor character in the Tomb Raider comics by Dark Horse.
Biography[]
Nur Hussein is the captain of the ship "Jerung". He is implied to have a friendship/allegiance to Joslin Reyes as he promised to protect her and her friends with his life. He is later shot by a member of the Solarii Worshipers as they also blow up his ship.
Personality[]
Nur is shown as a charming and loyal friend of Reyes, as he lets them use his ship to travel back to Yamatai and swears on his life that he will protect them.
Trivia[]
- His ship - "Jerung" looks really run down, but in reality it makes it almost all the way to Yamatai. The ship is blown up by the Solarii Worshipers, before they make it and that is Captain Hussein's last venture.
- "Hunted by Shadows" is the first and last comic that Captain Hussein appears in.
