  • Hei. I noticed that we have two categories that are similar Main Antagonists and Tomb Raider Villains. Which do you think would better to keep?

      Loading editor
    • I think main antagonists would be the more fitting one, though I'd suggest that it be changed to simply "Antagonists" because the "Main" implies the centrai villain only and not just all antagonitic people/deities/factions.

    • Yeah, I thought that Main Antagonists would be better too.

Changing it to Antagonist though I'm not sure. We have Enemies category. Wouldn't it be too similar to that then? Although we have Bosses category, the Main Antagonists would differ from it because characters like Ana, who was antagonist but not a boss.

    • You're probably right.

  • Hi, just letting you know my thought process on the names of Original Konstantin, and the Cleaner. I did write them down, as I heard them, so they might be a bit incorrect, thus I won't be renaming the pages just yet. When the Kurtis' Diary comes out, I'm hoping we have the names written, with proper spelling, and we can then start renamaing the pages. The video where i got the names is here, Revealed by Murti Schofield

    • Seems reasonable. It would be foolish to not update when presented with new and confirmable information.

    • A little update on the names, Konstantine's last name he has actually written down in the interviews with Tomb of Ash.

  • Hei, just thinking here, when we link Lara to mobile games should we use the original timeline Lara or create a new one. She had Angel of darkness look in the Java mobile games, so I'm thinking Original.

    • I thinks that's kind of a "no wrong answer" sort of thing. On one hand it might be easier to link to original, but at the same time, the mobile games could be considered a completely new continutiy. Personally the mobile games always kinda felt like non-canon off shoots, so really, either way could work.

  • Hei. I looked through the tombstones in the Nightmare DLC, and we get some dates there. I think it's kind of confirmation of the birth years of some characters as well as the timeline when the games take place. Just double-checking before starting to edit. Obviously Lara's and Jonah's death dates are not correct, but it shows the year Shadow should take place.

    • What did you think of the Richard's briefcase (also under images), nice little easteregg for classic Tomb Raider.

        Loading editor
    • It's pretty neat. It's a subtle detail that only a few of the die hard fans are gonna appreciate, but it's a touch that show the attention to detail of the dev.

  • Hei, I just now flipped through the Journeys, and I think they are meant to be in the same continuity as the Tomb Raider Series, because Journeys #5 is the story continuation of Series FCBD issue of her origins.

    • There is some overlap between the two, but Lara's apparent refusal to kill in the journey's timeline is counter to the fact Lara kills quite a few people in the the main Top Cow timeline.

  • See the link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=orn9KIYUjzU which is a walkthrough of the beginning of Amazon Forest area after the plane crash of Lara and Jonah and at 0:15 there is a file of Dr. Dominguez revealing his first name and his rank inside Trinity.

  • Hmm, I wonder if this is from the time where she was still known as Laura Cruz: similar long camo pants and pose. If so, there could be a render of Cruz somewhere in the dark web....

    • I've seen this before, there is a scene that follows this of Lara wearing a bathrobe on a boat. Also it says Early 96, we know Tomb Raider didn't launch til October so its entirely possible.

  • I've restored the section. The book doesn't contradict the canon, the word "year" it's an error, and that's the only thing that doesn't goes with the rest of the story. In the paper copy there is a note of crystal dynamics in which is explained that the events are studied to happen before the comics, I would give you a photo of my copy but I bet you can't read italian. Anyway you can check this:

    • But those are the errors in the book. I'm not saying SE isn't attempting to make it canon, but fitting a square (no bun intended) block into a circular hole just doesn't fit.

These are their attempts to fit the book to the canon, but they are just mostly easter eggs (almost like "See. We remember the book, the book is canon"):

      • Kennard Montez - character introduced in the book, has been hinted in the game via the id card easter egg.
      • Profesor Cahalane - character introduced in the book, used in the comic, hinted in the game, with easter eggs.
      • Rebekah - character introduced in the book, easter egg in the game.
      • Samiko - Sam as Himiko in the books, I think was hinted in the comics, but it was so vague I'm not sure if that was the case.

    • I won't reply to each point, because I lost the will to do it again(as my post disappeared). I'll just sum up saying that, while what you report makes sense, it's too vague to take it as a contradiction.

In my opinion Kennard will return in some way, same thing for the Golden Fleece and the events Lara lived in the book(as in the comics). So it's a mistake to not include it in the storyline.

But, well, I know what I have to know, it's just a pity for those who want to know about the big picture.

  • Hey. Do you think we should have separate pages for keys and items from Tomb Raider I and Anniversary, or will one page for both do?

      Loading editor
    • I think one should do fine, but with a heading for each game. Also be a good idea for the case of the Thor key to have a heading at the top "For the key that appears in Tomb Raider: Anniversary see Haphaestus key"

        Loading editor
    • Right. I'll finish with Golden Mask soon, then I'll go back to TRI and get some shots of the items there.
