Hi there, good to see you. I just wanted to give you a heads up that I'm the Wiki Manager for the Tomb Raider Wiki now, so if you ever need any technical help or want to talk to Fandom about something, you can feel free to leave me a message. Happy editing! :)
England is the most basic country on the TR series. We should add the country template. I cannot copy and paste it because I have tablet and not a laptop. I will notify you for other countries on the Countries must have their template message
I'll get around to it someday. I have these periods of obsession where I'm preoccupied with one thing, and all my focus is there. Right now I'm trying to finish Prince of Persia 3D and get as much info on it to the POP wikia.
Jacob is Orthodox. The Church refers to the Roman Catholic Church. He is not Catholic, but Orthodox. He also said to Jonah: The Lord will protect your soul from every evil. Also, a Remnant, one of his followers told the Pater Hemon (the orthodox orison). I always hear it to the church.
The Roman Catholic Church is referred, not the Eastern Orthodox Church. I understand that is difficult from peoples with different religions or non-religious to study the Christian story. But Jacob is believer of a Christian section: Eastern Christianity.
Well going by the time when he joined the church in 860, it can be summarized it was the Eastern Orthodox Church he joined. He however is described to find the churches teachings contradictory, while searching for God's mysteries on Earth. So his final stance would be: he is a believer in God, but not in any specific church.
I think you might be overthinking it. It's obvious that Jacob's religious beliefs are Christian in origin, however given that the Catholic church basically branded him a heretic, and enemy of the church, it's likely that the Remnants particular brand of Christianity doesn't fall into the perview of the RC chuch, and likely, no other known denomination, and while similar would be wholly unique.
But he acts like a priest or a holy person for Christianity. He made the Kitezhian Church (something like that). But he has no official just is his section of Christianity. Protestants, Catholics, Orthodoxes and Jacob' followers.
Oh, I probably should've clarified more. I mean not just strength, but overall: like skill, durability, and speed/agility. As well as which of them accomplished more (like which one do you think took down deadlier foes). Ultimately, which of the two incarnations impressed you more overall, so if they were to fight each other, who do you think would win the majority?
TR 3 has a good plot, but they will make fun of me if I buy it because of the graphics. I prefer Lara from Survivor Timeline. I also prefer Survivor Timeline, mostly Rise of the Tomb Raider, because it has more adventures and other features.
Classic one is more athletic: midair flips, expert swimmer, rope swings, and ropewalks, etc. She knows how to fly helicopters, planes, and drive other vehicles. Classic enemies seem to be more deadly too, most have supernatural powers, she even fought a dragon, and god Set and won.
The newer Lara is intentionally made weaker though, as she is just starting the adventure. The arrow climb is pretty impressive feat though. Survivor Lara mostly deals with the undying fodder force, only Amaru boss was equal to the classic bosses.
Rise of the Tomb Raider's Byzantine culture is great. Shadow of The Tomb Raider has the Spaniards with Andres Lopez and its Maya and Inca civilization ruins. It is more adventurous than original Lara Croft. Classic exploration of Peru-Mexico, always Spaniards are mentioned.
... I'm using Legend version (Lara from Anniversary, Legend, and Underworld) against the Original Lara. Unless Legend trilogy Lara counts as a classic Lara too? (Like she's just an alternate version, since she and original Lara experienced the events of TR1?).
But yeah, Survivor Lara is much weaker than both of them.
Yes, but the graphics are more bad. First of all. When the original Lara speaks, the characters don't open their mouths. I prefer Survivor Timeline Lara because she is more adventurous, and it makes me feel as a survivor and explorer. Combat is more great, exploration is more great, and the ancient civilizations are more great. I am more interested on adventure, not how athletic Survivor Lara is.
Don't revile them! I have other good games. And my parents won't give any money because of the graphics. I am not an adult like you, and I could buy it. I am born into years like TR (2013), ROTTR, SOTTR are popular. How did you came contact with the TR Games?
I first saw Tomb Raider II, and rented in from a game room. Didn't get very far in the game though. I was like 12 then. Tomb Raider IV was the one I bought for myself. IV was also the first one I finished multible times.
As for LAU vs Classic: LAU physics makes it seem like she is stronger, things move faster and with less effort. Her acrobatics also seem more developed than Classic Lara. LAU enemies though, maybe less thretening, last bosses she defeated with an aid of a mystical object, while Classic ones mostly are killed by regular Lara. 4, 5, 6 do have some mystucal objects used during bosses though.
I was wondering how LAU Lara compares with Classic and Survivor Laras, because I remember when Death Battle's Lara Croft vs Nathan Drake was coming out, people were saying that Classic Lara stomps Nathan, while Survivor Lara is a much closer fight. However, no one seemed to mention LAU Lara for some reason. Might have been by chance though.
The name is inspired by Rob Zombie. he got me into the metal music so I created the username KillerZombie. But some pages didn't allow the long name so i shortened it to KillerZ, sometimes also KZombie.
