Biography[]
Mariana Ortiz was the grandmother of Abigaile Ortiz. She came from a long line of guardians going back to the times of queen Abarrane. The guardian's duty is to protect Kuwaq Yaku. Mariana once had to kill a man working for Porvenir in protection of those secrets. Mariana often told stories to her granddaughter, Abigaile Ortiz, about the secrets hidden near Kuwaq Yaku.
While battling the cancer, she had Diego make a map of Kuwaq Yaku and used lemon juice to make hidden messages on it. She planned of giving the map to Abigaile. She also asked Pilar to go through with the gift if she doesn't live that long, which ended up happening.
