Manu is a blind man living in San Juan.
Biography[]
Manu often sits near the church and tells stories from his youth to kids who like to hear adventure stories.
In one of the stories he found Maya ruins in Peru. He made through the outer chamber. Manu's grandfather had told him stories about the chachapoya, who had set traps near there. Having made past the traps into the inner sanctum. Manu soon found out that a tribe lived in the ruins. Manu ran from them as poison darts and spears were hurled at him. Manu dove into a river to escape, but one of the darts hit him in the back. The poison made Manu loose his sight a week later.
A woman named Lara Croft came to see Manu, and informed him that the stories he told helped Isabela find an old tomb. Manu was happy that he could be of help, and wished he was younger and still has his sight, for he still graved for adventure. Lara offered to be his eyes, and offered to find those Maya ruins he was talking about earlier. Manu only remembered it was near three waterfalls. After Lara found the tomb, she came back and told Manu all about in detail. Manu gave Lara the first relic he had found, a decorated Skull, as a thank you.
Some of the nuns can be overheard talking about Manu, apparently he is dying. They don't know how long he has left to live, month or even less.
