Manko is a mentioned character in Shadow of the Tomb Raider.
Biography[]
Manko was a farmer who brought the people from Cuzco to Paititi centuries ago to escape the Spaniards. He is the ancestor of Amaru and Sayri.
He became known as the Peasant Savior to the people, and his followers became known as the Order of Peasant Savior. After Trinity started to influence Paititi through the Cult of Kukulkan, and the cult started to wipe out the order, the order changed into the Paititi Rebels.
Manko's remains were moved to safe location, and hidden in an old cistern from the Cult of Kukulkan. However the location faded from the people memories over time, except for few who passed down the knowledge of it.
in 2018 Uchu sent Quenti to retrieve the Savior's Amulet from Manko's tomb, but he was unable to find it. Lara Croft however was successful, and retrieved the amulet. After The Cleansing, the tomb was made public and people started visiting it, and some of them even felt hopeful of the future afterwards.
