Howard Carter was a British archaeologist and Egyptologist who became world-famous after discovering the intact tomb of the 18th Dynasty Pharaoh, Tutankhamun[1].
Biography[]
Howard Carter found the Tutankhamun's tomb in November 1922. He gave the exclusive to The Times, which also hold his findings in an archive of theirs.
Years Later, in 1999, another passage was found near the Tutankhamun's tomb. The Times editor Peter Stothard asked the famous Lara Croft to use Howard Carter's notes and look into the passage[2].
