There are five types of golems, recognized by their size and color.
Small moss covered ones throw only a single rock. The huge moss covered golem throws one large boulder. Small golems with purple stones throw two stones. Smaller black golems throw three rocks. The largest of the five, the black golem with white stones on its back, throws a large boulder, which on impact shatters into eight smaller stones.
There is also a Metal Golem, that is a boss in Midas' Palace. It thrown large bouncing metal balls.

- Small black golem was replaced visually by the small moss covered golem, and black golem was reused with enhanced attack in later chapters.
