Gold Pieces is a currency of Shadow of the Tomb Raider. The gold pieces can be acquired in multitude of ways: looting enemies, finding from tombs and crypts, rewards from missions, and selling resources to merchants. The maximum amount one can hold is 64000 gold pieces, so it is best to spend it often. Gold pieces can be used to buy weapons, weapon enhancements, outfits, gear, and even resources.
