Himiko, the first queen of Japan, according to legend, was a sorceress who ruled her empire with dark magic and spread death with just the mere touch of her hand. The legend also tells that she was forcefully dragged in chains by her own generals to an uninhabited island in the middle of the Devil's sea. There she was entombed underneath the island's mountains.
However, the truth was, Queen Himiko was an asymptomatic carrier of a deadly virus which had plagued and killed her people, though she herself was immune to it. To prevent it to further spreading to the entire world, she, alongside her followers and the infected, exiled themselves to the island. She then sacrificed herself by being entombed.
