Edgar Mast is a character in the comic Tomb Raider: Takeover.
Biography[]
Edgar Mast is a criminal mastermind. When he robbed a bank in London, he kept the workers as hostages. Once he was done, he detonated an explosive to cover his escape, killing all the hostages. This caught the attention of Lara Croft whose friend was one of the victims. Lara tracked Mast down and put a kink in his plans to use the money to fund more of his criminal activities, but Mast always had an escape plan.
In 2004 Edgar Mast went after the Delphi Stone which was transported to Getty Museum by Lara. He once again took hostage to force Lara to hand her the Delphi Stone. Edgar then attempted to kill Lara, but she threw herself off of the ledge. Thinking that Lara has dies from the fall, Edgar proceeds with his plan to use the Delphi Stone with Oracle Altar and rob Fort Knox with it. Lara however survived, and attacked Edgar and managed to grab the Delphi Stone. She then tossed the Delphi Stone onto the Oracle Altar while cursing Edgar to Oblivion, to which a portal then opened and sucked him inside along with his men.[1]
