History[]
Historically the Delphi Stone was used by the Priestess of Delphi to travel where ever she was needed with the Oracle Altar. all she had to do is hold the Delphi Stone and think of a place she wanted to go, and touch the Oracle Altar
In 2004, The Delphi Stone was in Athens, but was about to be transported to J. Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles when it was stolen en-route. Lara Croft happened on the stone while in Venice and took it from the thieves. Lara then personally decided to bring it to the museum. Just after she arrived though, her old enemy Edgar Mast attacked the place and wanted the Delphi Stone. After Edgar threatened to kill a hostage, Lara gave the Delphi Stone to Edgar. Edgar then used the Delphi Stone to activate a portal as the Oracle Altar was also in the museum. Lara however snatched the Delphi stone and tossed it into the portal, which then sucked Edgar and his men into the oblivion, before closing.[1]
