Camilla Roth is the daughter of Conrad Roth, she and Lara Croft grew up together. She later became an agent for Interpol.
Biography[]
Camilla grew up with Lara. They were as close as sisters. Whenever their fathers were traveling around the world and could accompany them, they came along. But Camilla was not the type for long journeys. Lara was under the impression that Camilla left because she hated how Roth liked Lara more. And for a long time, Lara lived with the thought that Camilla would hate her and had no contact with each other for a long time. And the two lost touch. When Camilla grew up, she joined Interpol, later taking over as head of the organized crime department.

Season 1[]
Camilla had been living in Paris for a long time when Lara broke into her apartment. At first they were both suspicious, but then the ice was broken and Camilla began to ask Lara questions about how she had been in the last few years, whether she is dating someone, but Lara did not answer either of them. Slowly the two of them grew closer again. Later they investigated Charles Devereaux's father's church and discovered that it was a secret hideout for the Light. The two were plagued by hallucinations. Lara in particular was once again plagued by her feelings of guilt and her fear that Camilla might hate her. But Camilla managed to bring Lara back our of the nightmares. At the end, when they were back in Camilla's apartment Lara asked why Camilla had left Chalchuapa when they were children. Camilla cleared up the confusion. She also explained that although Roth gave his life to save Lara, she is not to blame for his death, but for the life he chose.[1]
Camilla was contacted by Zip who filed her in on recent events. and told her Charles Devereaux is probably on Azores. Camilla assembled a team of Interpol agents and went to investigate. There she met up with Lara again and her friend Jonah Maiava. It turns out the lab they were in was a meeting place for the Light. Devereaux had taken the Light members hostage and barricaded himself behind a locked door. After Lara opened the door from other side, they went in to stop Devereaux. Devereaux took control of the Interpol agents and Camilla fought then to stop them from shooting each other. Lara tackled Devereaux and gave time for Camilla and Jonah to escort the Light members out. Jonah said he would take things from here, and gave Camilla his shotgun. Camille went back for Lara and saw the monster Devereaux had turned into, but she still fought it. Together with Lara, Camilla and her managed to separate Devereaux from the stones.[2]
Camilla took part of Jonah's wedding in London.[3]
Trivia[]
- The farewell scene between Lara and Camilla was actually longer, but it was cut out. Camilla talks about Roth, saying that she loved him, but because of his life as a treasure hunter, he was never there.
