Lara Croft visited Angkor Wat in Cambodia as a teenager along with her mentor Werner Von Croy where they found the Iris. She believed Werner to perish there.
Later as an adult she again traveled to Angkor Wat, to find the Magic Stones, believed to be buried with the creator of the temple complex, Suryavarman II.
