Alligator are large predatory amphibious reptiles that separates to two species: the American alligator and the Chinese alligator. They are from the same family as Crocodiles.

American alligator is seen when Lara Croft explores the House of the Jaguar. It chases Lara and manages to catch her and drag her back underwater. Lara however, grabbed her knife and stabbed at its head and managed to score a killing blow.
